Packaging design for MANN-FILTER:
The packaging redesign for MANN-FILTER resulted in a scalable system that still creates recognition and an iconic block effect on shelf today. The goal was a design that is perceived as a cohesive unit even across a very broad range.
Consistent scalability across different formats and pack sizes forms the foundation for a coherent brand presence. Based on this system, more than 6,800 artworks were produced worldwide and maintained over many years according to clearly defined rules. The result is a robust design logic that supports both international rollouts and long-term brand leadership.

Scalable design creates consistency across thousands of formats. The value-enhancing effect of such a system becomes particularly evident when different pack sizes and product lines stand directly next to each other on shelf.

Packaging design for MANN-FILTER:
Building on the existing base design, scalable design systems were developed for more complex product lines such as FreciousPlus. The aim was to integrate additional content and requirements without compromising consistent brand impact.
The system makes it possible to accommodate national specifics and regulatory requirements around the entire package in a flexible way, while still ensuring a clear, recognizable design across all formats. This keeps brand leadership stable even as complexity increases—and makes products easy to identify on shelf.

When B2B companies market products directly to consumers, clear positioning, understandable messages, and product presentation that builds trust are critical.

Packaging design for MANN+HUMMEL, Seccua:
For MANN+HUMMEL, Seccua was developed as an independent product brand for the consumer market. The goal was to translate technical expertise into clear, accessible product communication. The assignment included naming, packaging design, and the development of target-group messaging. Design, language, and imagery were aligned so that products are quickly understood and build trust in the brand and performance. The result is a consistent communication system that positions Seccua clearly and supports the transition from B2B to the consumer market.
